JOIN US: The Fort McMurray Chamber of Commerce in Partnership with The Oil Sands Community Alliance presents A Canadian oil sands outlook with Kevin Birn

The Russian invasion of Ukraine shocked the global oil market into recognition about the importance of energy security and contributed to escalation of global energy prices.  Questions are being asked about response from Canadian upstream, and the outlook.  However the game has changed with financial pressures demand higher returns and acceleration of upstream GHG reductions.  What is the competitiveness of the Canadian oil sands?   How is energy transition influencing oil sands investments today?  What are the long-term implications of shifting upstream investment pressure on the sector?
