Howdy there, partner! We hope this message finds y'all in good health and high spirits. We're fixin' to invite you to our upcoming ''Jail and Bail Fundraiser,'' but we're givin' it an Old West twist ? a rootin' tootin' event aimed at raisin' funds for a cause that truly matters to our community. Save the Date: - Date: November 16th, 2023 - Time: 1 PM - 6 PM - Location: Earls Kitchen+Bar What's Jail and Bail, you ask? The Jail and Bail fundraiser is a community-driven hootenanny where participants eagerly ''get arrested'' for the cause. The United Way Fort McMurray and Wood Buffalo are passionate about and committed to helpin' fund agencies in our community. Here's how we're wranglin' things: 1. Participants will have ''warrants'' issued for their ''arrest.'' These warrants are playfully crafted, tailored to each cowpoke's unique personality. 2. The ''arrested participants'' will then be escorted to our ''jail,'' where they'll get the chance to call their posse ? friends, family, and colleagues ? to rustle up their bail money. 3. We encourage participants to get mighty creative with their bail strategy. Call your network for donations, put on entertainin' performances, or share a heartfelt tale about our cause. 4. The ''bail'' raised by each participant will be a direct contribution to our fundraising goal for 2023. Why should you saddle up and join the posse? - It's a darn good chance to help make a real difference in your community. - It's a heap of fun, and you'll meet some of the finest folks in your neck of the woods! - There?ll be plenty of picture-takin? moments worth their weight in gold! How to Get Involved: 1. Register as a participant by November 8th, 2023. 2. Spread the word about this event on the tumbleweed, ahem, social media, and with your network. 3. Consider makin' a personal donation to help us reach our goal. We reckon that with your help, we can lasso a brighter future for our community.
